ROLL OF 24
Students were introduced to photography fundamentals and put themselves in the shoes of a photography student from 50 years ago. With only 24 opportunities to take photographs, students developed their understanding of ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture.
COMPOSITION
Students developed their understanding of composition through their photographs. Exploring different composition principals, students learnt how to 'make' a photograph through considered view points.
MACRO
Exploring themes within photography, students developed their skills in Macro Photography techniques. They investigated the environment around them and had to choose a theme in with they produced a series of 5-7 photographs communicating that theme.
LIGHT PAINTING
Through research and practical task, students explored the world of light painting photography. Making tools and manipulating light, students were able to explore the techniques and equipment surrounding long exposure photography.
A-Z PHOTOGPRAHY
Exploring the environment around them, students engaged in a project of looking. They were required to find all the letters of the alphabet from the found school environment. They then used the letters to make a word which positively described them
